•    You should take some time out and plan your meals a week before. You can just stick the plan on your refrigerator so that they get to know what they should expect. You can shop for all the ingredients that are required for cooking so that you can avoid having junk food. Plan ahead to stop wasting time and eat healthy food. 

•    If you want to lose weight, you should have salad or a cup of soup an hour before having meal. This ensures that you will have less food at dinners. 

•    You should remove all the unhealthy food from your house. This way you can surround yourself with healthy food. 

•    You can look for healthy food recipes and make even boring vegetables tastier. 

•    Involve your children in kitchen work so that you get a much required boost and make you cook healthy food. 

•    Once you keep a check on your diet, you should start by exercising. It works best at all ages and you build your stamina day after day. 

•    Use staircase instead of elevator. It may seem to be difficult initially but after some weeks you will get used to it. 

•    If you have to get something near your house, you should prefer walking or using bicycles.
