Three Simple Ideas To Eat Less For Losing Weight

Most health experts and fitness enthusiasts agree on the fact that a check on diet can go a long way in weight management. Eating less doesn't really mean starving, but it is more about knowing where to stop. Here are some smart ways to eat less without trying hard. 


Feel the food
As simple as it sounds, smelling and tasting the menu is a good way to consume less. Eating and chewing the food slowly is not only worthy to reduce calorie intake, but it also aids the digestion process. Tasting and enjoying every bit without rushing will soon leave you exhausted and it’s likely that you won’t over eat. 


Reduce the plate size 
Try using a half plate if you don’t have any control on how much and what you eat. A smaller plate ensures that you will take lesser food than usual, and as a rule of thumb, trying filling at least one-third of the plate with salads and fresh vegetables. For dinners, you can keep a medium sized bowl to limit the food intake. 


Start with good foods
For people on the plus side, the idea is to eat the right things ahead of the main course. Start with a glass of water and follow up with fresh salads. Vegetables always have good fiber content and tend to fill up the stomach, so that the share of beef steak and fried bacon strips can be avoided.

 
Planning meals for the entire day is also a good way to count the calories.
